NEWPORT BEACH, CA. – Antonio Johnson of Texas A&M has been named the Lott IMPACT® Trophy Player of the Week for the fourth week of the 2022 college football season.

The sophomore defensive back compiled a game high 13 tackles in the Aggies 23-21 win over then #10 Arkansas on Saturday.

Johnson is from East St Louis, IL where he was an Army All-American out of East St Louis High School. Johnson was an All-SEC 2nd team pick last season and entered this year as a preseason All-American. Johnson was also named “Most Dependable” at Texas A&M and was acknowledged as the team’s top defensive playmaker.

The Lott IMPACT® Trophy is awarded annually to individuals who demonstrate excellence in the field of athletics and recognizes college football’s Defensive Player of the Year who best exemplifies the IMPACT acronym: Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity.

4 tackles, 2.5 for a loss, including 1.5 sacks with a forced fumble in 40-22 win over Stanford.
