NEWPORT BEACH, CA. – Alonzo Addae of West Virginia has been named the Lott IMPACT Trophy Player of the Week.
The 5-10, 190-pound safety from Pickering, Ontario, had 10 tackles and a sack in win over Virginia Tech, 27-21.
Addae is a sixth season senior, having been awarded the extra year due to the NCAA COVID-19 eligibility ruling.
He is a Big-12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll student who is working on his Master’s degree in Sports Management.
The Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation sponsors the Lott IMPACT Trophy and has donated more than $1.6 million to universities and charities throughout the country.

Shaka Heyward, Jr., LB, Duke. Led team with 13 tackles in win over Northwestern, 30-23.
Kyle Hamilton, Jr., S, Notre Dame, Had 10 tackles and an interception in 27-13 win over Purdue.
JoJo Domann, Sr., LB, Nebraska. His 12 tackles were game high and he had one tackle for loss and a pass defended in loss to Oklahoma, 23-16.
Yusuf Corker, Sr., S, Kentucky. Defended a pair of passes, had a quarterback hurry and 6 totals tackles in win over UT Chattanooga, 28-23.
Drake Jackson, Jr., DE, USC. Stripped ball out in end zone that led to Trojan touchdown in 45-14 comeback win over Washington State.
Silas Kelly, Grad., LB, Coastal Carolina. Had 10 tackles, one for a loss and one pass defended in win over Buffalo, 28-25.
