UCLA’S PICKETT NAMED LOTT IMPACT TROPHY PLAYER OF THE WEEK #6

NEWPORT BEACH, CA. – UCLA’s Adarius Pickett has been named the Lott IMPACT Trophy Player of the Week.

The 5-11, 195-pound defensive back from Richmond, Ca. had 16 tackles and an interception in UCLA’s loss to Washington, 31-24. For the season he has 61 total tackles, 24 more than any other Bruin.

A Political Science major, he has been named to the Athletic Director Honor Roll in the past.

UCLA will receive $1,000 for its general scholarship fund in recognition of his performance.

The Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation sponsors the Lott IMPACT Trophy and has donated more than $1.5 million to universities and charities throughout the country.

Ben Burr-Kirven, LB, Washington: Led Huskies with 15 tackles and broke up one pass in win over UCLA, 31-24.

Te’von Coney, LB, Notre Dame: Had 9 tackles, 1.5 for losses in win over Virginia Tech, 45-23.

T.J. Edwards, LB, Wisconsin: Had 7 tackles, 2 sacks and a quarterback hurry in win over Nebraska, 41-24.

Khaleke Hudson, DB, Michigan: Had 2 tackles for losses, a sack and 5 total tackles in win over Maryland, 48-21

Chancy Gardner-Johnson, DB, Florida: Had 11 tackles, 1.5 for losses in win over LSU, 27-19.

David Long Jr., LB, West Virginia: Had 10 tackles, one sack and one pass defended in win over Kansas, 38-22.

Anthony Nelson, DL, Iowa: Had 3 sacks (19 yards in losses) and 5 total tackles in win over Minnesota, 48-31.

Ed Oliver, DL, Houston: Led team with 13 tackles, 1.5 tackles for losses and a quarterback hurry in win over Tulsa, 41-26.

Taylor Rapp, S, Washington: Had an interception and 5 tackles in win over UCLA, 31-24.
