NEWPORT BEACH, CA. – LSU defensive end Bradyn Swinson is the Lott IMPACT Trophy Player of the Week for week 3 of the 2024 college football season. Swinson made three sacks, among his five total tackles (4 solo), forced a fumble and had a QB pressure in the Tigers 36-33 win at South Carolina.
Swinson is a graduate student with a degree in anthropology who transferred from Oregon prior to the start of last season. The Douglasville, GA native went on to lead LSU in QB pressures in 2023.
The Lott IMPACT Trophy player of the week is determined by a panel of Lott Trophy board members, former players and coaches, as well as members of the media along with an online fan vote.
The Lott IMPACT Trophy is awarded annually to individuals who demonstrate excellence in the field of athletics and recognizes college football’s Defensive Player of the Year who best exemplifies the IMPACT acronym: Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity.
