Coastal Carolina and Liberty University are both ranked and undefeated!

Coastal Carolina – undefeated at 7-0 and ranked No. 15 in the country – is in Conway, South Carolina and has been around since 1954. PGA star Dustin Johnson is an alum.
They have a rising football star in Tarron Jackson, a 260-pound defensive end, who has already notched 6 sacks, 9.5 tackles for losses, 14 quarterback hurries and forced three fumbles.
He’s also an academic standout, garnering Sun Belt Academic Honors multiple times with a GPA over 3.0.
So why isn’t he on the Lott IMPACT Trophy Watch List? Well, he is now.
Oh, yeah. Coastal Carolina’s nickname is the Chanticleer – proud and fierce rooster.
