NEWPORT BEACH, CA. — The Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation, sponsor of the annual Lott IMPACT Trophy, has made the following changes to its 2020 award format:

*The annual awards ceremony will be held Feb. 21, 2021 (rather than Dec. 13) at The Pacific Club in Newport Beach, CA.  Joel Klatt of FOX will emcee the event.

*There will be six finalists (rather than four) – one each from the Power 5 conferences and one At-Large finalist from the other Division I conferences.

*Three semi-finalists will be chosen from each of the conferences on Nov. 18.

*One finalist will be chosen from each conference on Jan. 7.

*The names of the six finalists will then be sent to the Lott IMPACT Trophy National Panel, who will choose the winner of the 17th Annual Lott IMPACT Trophy.

*The Lott IMPACT Trophy winner will be announced on Feb. 21.  The winner will receive $25,000 for the general scholarship fund of his school.
