Pitt’s Lovelace selected as Week 13 Lott IMPACT® Trophy Player of the Week
Lovelace had a 100 yard interception for a touchdown in upset of #16 Georgia Tech 42-28
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — Nov. 26, 2025 — The Lott IMPACT® Trophy presented by Allied Universal®, announced today Braylan Lovelace, a linebacker from University of Pittsburgh, has been named Player of the Week for Week 13 of the 2025 college football season.
Lovelace returned an interception 100 yards for a touchdown, to go with four tackles, two solo, in the Panthers upset of #16 Georgia Tech 42-28.
A native of Leechburg, Pa., Lovelace is in his junior campaign at Pitt where he is the Panthers third leading tackler and has the second most interceptions on the team.
As part of the recognition, Allied Universal, in conjunction with the Pacific Club IMPACT® Foundation, will make a donation to Pitt’s general scholarship fund in Lovelace’s honor.
The Lott IMPACT Trophy presented by Allied Universal will be awarded on December 7, at the Pacific Club in Newport Beach, Calif. in a live television broadcast on CBS Sports Network at 7pm EST. The show will be hosted by Rick Neuheisel, along with reporter Jordan Giorgio. The finalists for the event are CJ Allen (Georgia), Rueben Bain (Miami), Caleb Downs (Ohio State) and Jacob Rodriguez (Texas Tech).
Other nominees for the Lott IMPACT Trophy presented by Allied Universal, Player of the Week in Week 13:
Ahmad Moten Sr, DL, Miami– Made two sacks, among three tackles for a loss, a part of a five solo tackle performance in Hurricanes 34-17 victory over Virginia Tech.
Matayo Uiagalelei, DE, Oregon– Had two tackles for a loss, among seven total, including a sack in the Ducks 42-27 victory over #15 USC.
Tanner Wall, S, BYU– Had an interception early in the second half, to go with a pair of solo tackles in the Cougars 26-14 win at Cincinnati.
