Sooners DB Eli Bowen’s pick-six helped lift #11 Oklahoma past #4 Alabama 23-21

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — Nov. 19, 2025 — The Lott IMPACT® Trophy presented by Allied Universal®, announced today Eli Bowen, a defensive back from University of Oklahoma, has been named Player of the Week for Week 12 of the 2025 college football season.

Bowen returned an interception 87 yards for a touchdown, to go with five tackles, all solo, in Sooners 23-21 upset at #4 Alabama.

A returning All-Academic member in the Big 12, and a Freshman All-American in 2024, Bowen has navigated injury in his 2025 campaign. His interception Saturday was his first of the season and second of his career. 

As part of the recognition, Allied Universal, in conjunction with the Pacific Club IMPACT® Foundation, will make a donation to Oklahoma’s general scholarship fund in Bowen’s honor.

Other nominees for the Lott IMPACT Trophy, presented by Allied Universal, Player of the Week in Week 12:

Cashius Howell, DE, Texas A&M– Knocked down three passes to go with a sack, among 4 total tackles, three solo, to help Aggies complete the biggest comeback in school history to defeat South Carolina 31-30. 

Dalton Johnson, DB, Arizona– Had an interception to go with 8 tackles, four solo, in the Wildcats upset at #25 Cincinnati 30-24. 

Jacob Rodriguez, LB, Texas Tech– Had an interception to go with nine tackles, five solo in the Red Raiders rout of UCF 48-9.
