NEWPORT BEACH, CA. – Michigan star Aidan Hutchinson has been named the Lott IMPACT® Trophy Player of the Week.
The 6-6, 265-pound senior defensive end from Plymouth, MI. led the Wolverine’s charge with three sacks in the big win over Ohio State, 42-27
Hutchinson, a team captain and acknowledged leader, is a mid-season All-American and a two-time member of the All-Big Ten academic team. His 12.5 sacks this season is a Michigan single-season record.
The Lott IMPACT® Trophy recognizes student-athletes for their on and off the field contributions.
The winner of the 18th annual Lott IMPACT® Trophy will be announced at the award show in Newport Beach, CA., December 12, 2021. Joel Klatt of FOX Sports will be the emcee and former Michigan Heisman Trophy winner Charles Woodson a special guest speaker.
The Pacific Club IMPACT® Foundation sponsors the Lott IMPACT® Trophy and has donated more than $1.6 million to universities and charities throughout the country.
