Lawrence key for UCLA, named Week 6 Lott IMPACT® Trophy Player of the Week
Bruins Key Lawrence had a second half forced fumble and team best eight tackles in UCLAs first win over a top-10 team since 2010.
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — Oct. 8, 2025 — The Lott IMPACT® Trophy presented by Allied Universal®, today announced UCLA safety Key Lawrence has been named Player of the Week for Week 6 of the 2025 college football season.
Lawrence forced a fumble, to go with a team-high eight tackles, six solo, including one for a loss in the Bruins 42-37 upset of #7 Penn State.
The win for UCLA was their first of the season, as they became the first team to enter with an 0-4 record and defeat a top-10 opponent since 1985. It was also the Bruins first win over a top-10 team since 2010 and first win over a top-10 team at home since 2007.
As part of the recognition, Allied Universal, in conjunction with the Pacific Club IMPACT® Foundation, will make a donation to UCLA’s general scholarship fund in Lawrence’s honor.

David Bailey, LB, Texas Tech: Made two sacks, among three tackles for a loss in Red Raiders 35-11 win over Houston.
Devin Moore, CB, Florida: Had an interception and made a sack among four tackles, three solo, in Gators 29-21 upset of #9 Texas.
Leonard Moore, CB, Notre Dame: Had two interceptions to go with six tackles, all solo, in the Fighting Irish 28-7 win over Boise State.
