NEWPORT BEACH, CA. – Cornerback Coby Bryant of Cincinnati has been named the Lott IMPACT® Trophy Player of the Week.
The 6-1, 198-pound graduate student from Cleveland had 7 tackles and defended 3 passes in Cincy’s big win over Notre Dame, 24-13.
Cincinnati is 4-0 and ranked No. 5 in the country.
Bryant is a returning All-AAC performer who is also on the AAC Academic team.
And, yes, he is named after former Laker legend Kobe Bryant.
The Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation sponsors the Lott IMPACT® Trophy and has donated more than $1.6 million to universities and charities throughout the country.

JoJo Domann, LB, Sr., Nebraska: Led Cornhuskers with 9 tackles, 2 sacks and 3 tackles for losses in win over Northwestern, 56-7.
Drake Jackson, DE, Jr., USC: Recovered a fumble, had 2 sacks, 1 pass defended, 1 quarterback hurry and 4 total tackles in Trojan win over Colorado, 37-14.
Zakoby McClain, LB, Sr., Auburn: Had team high 12 tackles with a quarterback hurry in win over LSU, 24-19.
