Brown’s pick-six turned the (Crimson) tide in Alabama’s win over Tennessee.

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — Oct. 22, 2025 — The Lott IMPACT® Trophy presented by Allied Universal®, today announced Alabama cornerback Zabien Brown has been named Player of the Week for Week 8 of the 2025 college football season.

Brown returned an interception 99 yards for a touchdown, to go with matching a game-high seven tackles as the Crimson Tide defeated #11 Tennessee 37-20 on Saturday.

A sophomore at Alabama, Brown is from Southern California where he played high school football at Mater Dei in Santa Ana, CA, where he was a five-star prospect and the third ranked cornerback in the nation.

As part of the recognition, Allied Universal, in conjunction with the Pacific Club IMPACT® Foundation, will make a donation to Alabama’s general scholarship fund in Brown’s honor.

Other nominees for the Lott IMPACT Trophy, presented by Allied Universal, Player of the Week in Week 8:

Christian Gray, CB, Notre Dame: Had an interception, to go with six tackles, five solo, including one for a loss in Fighting Irish 34-24 win over #20 USC.

Arvell Reese, LB, Ohio State: Made four tackles, all solo, with two for a loss, including a sack in Buckeyes 34-0 shutout of Wisconsin.

Tanner Wall, S, BYU: Had an interception with 10 tackles, seven solo, one for a loss in Cougars 24-21 win over #23 Utah.
