NEWPORT BEACH, CA. — Joel Klatt, the lead college football analyst for FOX Sports, will return as the host of the 15th annual Lott IMPACT Trophy Banquet Dec. 9, 2018 in Newport Beach, California.
Klatt previously hosted the event in 2015 and 2016.
“I’m excited and happy to be back,” said Klatt.
A record-setting quarterback at Colorado, Klatt has been a rising star in the broadcast industry over the past several years and is a much in demand commentator on college football throughout the country.
“Joel is as polished and as professional as anyone in the business,” said John Hamilton, the Chairman of the Board of the Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation, sponsors of the annual award. The Lott IMPACT Trophy goes to the college football defensive player who has the biggest IMPACT on his team both on and off the field. IMPACT is an acronym for Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity.
