NEWPORT BEACH, CA. – The Pacific Cub IMPACT® Foundation has named the eight semi-finalists for the 2021 Lott IMPACT® Trophy, presented by Andersen/Mark & Liz Vorsatz.

The Lott IMPACT® Trophy, named after Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott, recognizes student-athletes for their on and off the field contributions.

The winner of the 18th Annual Lott IMPACT® Trophy will be announced at the award show in Newport Beach, CA., December 12, 2021. Joel Klatt of FOX Sports will be the emcee and former Michigan Heisman Trophy winner Charles Woodson a special guest speaker.

Four finalists will be invited to attend.

The university of the winner will receive $25,000 for its general scholarship fund while three runner-ups will receive $5,000 for each of their schools.

The Pacific Club IMPACT® Foundation sponsors the Lott IMPACT® Trophy and has donated more than $1.6 million to universities and charities throughout the country.

MICHIGAN STAR HUTCHINSON NAMED LOTT IMPACT® TROPHY PLAYER OF THE WEEK

NEWPORT BEACH, CA. – Michigan star Aidan Hutchinson has been named the Lott IMPACT® Trophy Player of the Week.

The 6-6, 265-pound senior defensive end from Plymouth, MI. led the Wolverine’s charge with three sacks in the big win over Ohio State, 42-27

Hutchinson, a team captain and acknowledged leader, is a mid-season All-American and a two-time member of the All-Big Ten academic team. His 12.5 sacks this season is a Michigan single-season record.

The 6-1, 205-pound senior safety from Irvine, CA. had an interception, two tackles for losses, seven total tackles, and a pass break up in win over USC, 62-33.

The son of former Bruin All-American linebacker Carnell Lake, Quentin Lake is a 9-time member of the Athletic Director’s Academic Honor Roll.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA. – Nakobe Dean of Georgia has been named the Lott IMPACT® Trophy Player of the Week.

The 6-0, 225-pound linebacker from Horn Lake, Ms. had a team high 11 tackles, 2 for losses with a sack, a forced fumble and one pass defended as the Bulldogs remained undefeated with a 41-17 win over Tennessee.

For the season, Dean has 49 tackles, 7 tackles for losses and 2 interceptions to go along with 15 quarterback hurries. He was named a mid-season All-American in 2021by several sources.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA. – Devin Lloyd of Utah has been named the Lott IMPACT® Trophy Player of the Week.

The 6-3, 232-pound linebacker from Chula Vista, Ca. had 9 tackles, five tackles for losses – including a sack – and an interception for a touchdown in a 52-7 win over Stanford.

For the season, Lloyd has 18 tackles for loss, second most in the country. He has 39 career tackles for loss and was named a mid-season All-American in 2021 by several sources.

It was the second time this season Lloyd has been named the Lott IMPACT® Trophy Player of the Week.

McClain, who is on the SEC Academic Honor Roll, has 239 career tackles.

Oregon’s Thibodeaux Named Lott IMPACT® Trophy Player Of The Week

NEWPORT BEACH, CA. – Kayvon Thibodeaux of Oregon has been named the Lott IMPACT® Trophy Player of the Week.

The 6-5, 250-pound defensive end from Los Angeles was dominant in the Ducks’ 34-31 win over UCLA. Thibodeaux had 4.5 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 9 total tackles, a forced fumble and a quarterback hurry.

Davis Added to the Lott IMPACT® Trophy Watch List – Georgia’s mammoth defensive tackle Jordan Davis had been added to the 2021 Lott IMPACT Trophy Watch List. He replaces Penn State star PJ Mustipher, who is out for the season with an injury.

The 340-pound Davis, a mid-season All-American, is the anchor of No. 1 Georgia’s dominant defense.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA. – Damone Clark of LSU has been named the Lott IMPACT® Trophy Player of the Week for the second time this season.

The 6-3, 245-pound junior linebacker from Baton Rouge had 11 tackles and a key interception late in the game as LSU defeated Florida, 49-42.

Clark was also named the Lott IMPACT® Trophy Player of the Week in Week Four of the season after a game-high 15 tackles and recovered fumble in the Tigers’ win over Mississippi State.

Auburn’s Derrick Brown Named The Winner of the 2019 Lott IMPACT Trophy

Newport Beach, CA (Dec. 15) – Auburn defensive tackle Derrick Brown has been named the winner of the 16^th Annual Lott IMPACT Trophy.

The announcement came Sunday night at the Pacific Club in Newport Beach, CA. at the Lott IMPACT Trophy Annual Award Show. Ronnie Lott made the presentation.

The award goes to the defensive player who has the biggest IMPACT on his team. IMPACT stands for Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity.

Brown was part of a dominant defensive line that upset Alabama this season. Graduates this December… AFCA Good Works Team, Wuerffel Trophy semi-finalist, Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year finalist… SEC Student-Athlete Council.

The Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation will present a $25,000 check to the general scholarship fund at Auburn in recognition of Brown’s achievement. Runner-ups were Jordan Fuller of Ohio State, Isaiah Simmons of Clemson and Evan Weaver of Cal. Each of those schools will receive a check for $5,000 for its general scholarship fund.

Auburn’s Derrick Brown Named Lott IMPACT Trophy Player of The Week

NEWPORT BEACH, CA. – Derrick Brown of Auburn has been named the Lott IMPACT Trophy Player of the Week.

Brown, a 6-5, 318-pound senior defensive tackle from Sugar Hills, Georgia, was a dominant figure in Auburn’s 48-45 win over Alabama Saturday. Brown was responsible for 3.5 tackles for losses, seven total tackles and one pass knocked down late in the game.

He has been the SEC Lineman of the Week three times this season and is a finalist for both the Outland and Bednarik awards (announced Dec. 12) as well as the Wuerffel (Dec. 10).

The winner of the 16^th Annual Lott IMPACT Trophy will be announced Dec. 15.

A team captain, Brown has a team best 12.5 tackles for losses this year, four sacks, four passes broken up, two quarterback hurries, two forced fumbles and two recovered fumbles.

He will graduate from Auburn later this month.

Auburn will receive $1,000 for its general scholarship fund in recognition of Brown’s performance.

In 15 years, The Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation has donated more than $1.5 million to universities and charities throughout the country.
