Texas A&Ms Antonio Johnson has been named the Week 13 Lott IMPACT® Trophy Player of the Week

NEWPORT BEACH, CA. – Texas A&Ms Antonio Johnson has been named the Lott IMPACT® Trophy Player of the Week for the second time this season, after already receiving the same honor in week 4.

Johnson had a game high 10 tackles, seven solo, with a QB hurry and forced a fumble in Aggies 38-23 upset of LSU on Saturday. Johnson has tallied 71 tackles on the year, five for a loss, including a sack and has forced fumbles in each of the last three weeks.

A native of East St Louis, IL, Johnson was an Army All-American out of East St Louis High School. Johnson was an All-SEC 2nd team pick last season and entered this year as a preseason All-American. Johnson was also named “Most Dependable” at Texas A&M and was acknowledged as the team’s top defensive playmaker.

The Lott IMPACT® Trophy is awarded annually to individuals who demonstrate excellence in the field of athletics and recognizes college football’s Defensive Player of the Year who best exemplifies the IMPACT acronym: Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity.

Jack Campbell of the University of Iowa has been named the Lott IMPACT® Trophy Player of the Week for the twelfth week

NEWPORT BEACH, CA. – Jack Campbell of the University of Iowa has been named the Lott IMPACT® Trophy Player of the Week for the twelfth week of the 2022 college football season. This is his second Lott Player of the Week honor, after previously being selected in Week 1.

Campbell forced a fumble, had an interception, with a QB hurry and a game high 10 tackles in the Hawkeyes 13-10 win over Minnesota. This effort also earned him Big Ten defensive player of the week recognition.

The senior linebacker, from Cedar Falls, Iowa, is the Big Ten leader in tackles, averaging 10.0 per game. A permanent team captain, Campbell has been part of the Iowa leadership group since his sophomore season and is a three-time Dean’s List student.

The Lott IMPACT® Trophy Announces the 2022 Finalists

NEWPORT BEACH, CA. – The Pacific Club IMPACT® Foundation has named Will Anderson Jr. (Alabama), Felix Anudike-Uzomah (Kansas State), Tommy Eichenberg (Ohio State) and Tuli Tuipulotu (USC) as finalists for the 2022 Lott IMPACT® Trophy.

The Lott IMPACT® Trophy, now in its 19th year, goes to the student-athlete who best exhibits the characteristics of Ronnie Lott by making an IMPACT® on and off the field. IMPACT® is an acronym for Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity.

Finalists will attend the annual Lott IMPACT® Trophy award show, December 11, 2022, in Newport Beach, California. Joel Klatt from Fox Sports will emcee the event.

The university of the winner will receive $25,000 for its general scholarship fund while three runner-ups will receive $5,000 for each of their schools.

Media attending the event are to arrive at 4:30pm for red carpet interviews with the four finalists and special guests.

Tuli Tuipulotu of the University of Southern California has been named the Lott IMPACT® Trophy Player of the Week for the eleventh week

NEWPORT BEACH, CA. – Tuli Tuipulotu of the University of Southern California has been named the Lott IMPACT® Trophy Player of the Week for the eleventh week of the 2022 college football season.

Tuipulotu currently leads the nation in sacks and added 2.5 more in the Trojans 55-17 rout of Colorado. Tuipulotu also forced a fumble and broke up a pass with three total tackles in that game.

The junior defensive lineman, from Hawthorne, California, is a semifinalist for the Lott IMPACT Trophy and is the reigning defensive lineman of the year for the Trojans. In addition to leading the country in sacks, he’s third in the nation in tackles for a loss. Additionally, Tuipulotu participates in a Christmas toy drive and distributes presents to children.

Finalists will be invited to attend the annual Lott IMPACT® Trophy award show, December 11, 2022, in Newport Beach, California. Joel Klatt from Fox Sports will emcee the event.

The university of the winner will receive $25,000 for its general scholarship fund while the other finalists will receive $5,000 for each of their schools.

BJ Ojulari of Louisiana State University has been named the Week 10 Lott IMPACT® Trophy Player of the Week

NEWPORT BEACH, CA. – BJ Ojulari of Louisiana State University has been named the Lott IMPACT® Trophy Player of the Week for the tenth week of the 2022 college football season.

The junior defensive end made a sack, among 11 tackles, with 1.5 for a loss to go with two QB hurries in the Tigers 32-31 overtime win over Alabama on Saturday.

Ojulari wears number 18, which goes to the player that best represents the values of LSU. Additionally, he served in the NCAA Leadership Symposium last summer and is a projected 1st round NFL pick.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA. – Tommy Eichenberg of Ohio State University has been named the Lott IMPACT® Trophy Player of the Week for the second consecutive week, for week 9 of the 2022 college football season.

The senior linebacker had a team best 15 tackles, 10 solo, as part of an outstanding team defensive performance as Ohio State defeated Penn State 44-31. Eichenberg is the first multiple honoree of the Lott IMPACT® Trophy Player of the Week in the 2022 season, and did so in back to back weeks.

Eichenberg is Ohio State’s leading tackler on the season, coming off a record-setting 17 tackle performance in the Rose Bowl Game in January. A business major, Eichenberg has been named Academic All-Big Ten each of the last two seasons, along with being an Ohio State University Scholar Athlete.

Joel Klatt of Fox Sports returns to emcee the 19th Annual Lott IMPACT® Trophy

NEWPORT BEACH, CA. – Joel Klatt, the popular Fox Sports college football analyst, will return once again as the emcee of the annual Lott IMPACT® Trophy award presentation on December 11, 2022.

The black-tie event is held at The Pacific Club in Newport Beach, California and is in its 19^th season honoring the college football defensive player who makes the biggest IMPACT on his team both on and off the field.

Klatt was a three-year starter at quarterback for Colorado and also played two seasons of professional baseball in the San Diego Padres organization.

This will be his eighth year hosting the event, which has raised more than $1.6 million for various charities throughout the country.

He has been the lead analyst on Fox since 2015.

The fourth year linebacker led a dominant defensive effort for the Buckeyes by returning an interception for a touchdown, breaking up a pass and making 7 tackles in Ohio State’s 54-10 win over Iowa.
