NEWPORT BEACH, CA. – Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell has been named the Lott IMPACT® Trophy, presented by Allied Universal, player of the week for week 11 of the 2024 college football season. Campbell led the Crimson Tide with 12 tackles, including 3.0 for a loss and 1.5 sacks to go with a forced fumble, a pass breakup, and a QB hurry as Alabama defeated #15 LSU 42-13.
The Lott IMPACT® Trophy, presented by Allied Universal, player of the week is determined by a panel of Lott Trophy board members, former players, and coaches, as well as members of the media along with an online fan vote.
The Lott IMPACT® Trophy, presented by Allied Universal, is awarded annually to the nation’s top defensive player, who also exhibits the characteristics of Ronnie Lott by making an IMPACT® on and off the field. IMPACT® is an acronym for Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity.
This year’s trophy presentation will be in Las Vegas, NV, December 9th. Finalists for the Lott IMPACT® Trophy, presented by Allied Universal, will be announced November 21st.

Jared Ivey, Ole Miss, Senior – Forced a fumble, to go with a pair of sacks, among 7 total tackles and broke up two passes in the Rebels upset of #3 Georgia 28-10.
Carson Schwesinger, UCLA, LB, RS Junior- Had two interceptions among 7 tackles, 5 solo, in the Bruins 20-17 win over Iowa.
