Wisconsin’s Jack Cichy is the Week 7 Lott IMPACT Player of the Week

NEWPORT BEACH, CA. – Wisconsin Linebacker Jack Cichy has been named the Lott IMPACT Player of the Week for the second time this season.
The 6-2, 223-pound junior from Somerset, Wisconsin had 15 tackles, 3 ½ tackles for losses, one sack and a forced fumble in the overtime loss to Ohio State Saturday, 30-23.
In recognition of Cichy’s performance, the Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation, sponsors of the Lott IMPACT Trophy, will make a $1,000 donation to the general scholarship fund at Wisconsin.
A former walk-on, Cichy leads the Badgers with 50 tackles this season. He was also named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against Ohio State.
It was the second time this season Cichy has been honored by the Lott IMPACT Foundation.
An economics major, he volunteers with Amnesty International, works as a youth sports camp counselor and has participated in local homeless shelter programs.
Other notable performances by players on the Lott IMPACT Watch List:
Jamal Adams (S, LSU, Jr.): Recorded 11 tackles, 1.5 tackles for losses, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery in win over Southern Mississippi, 45-10.
Quin Blanding (LB, Virginia, Sr.): Had a game high 16 tackles in loss to Pitt, 45-31.
Andrew King (LB, Army, Sr.): Had two tackles for losses, one sack, one pass broken up and four tackles in 62-7 win over Lafayette.
Desmond King (S, Iowa, Sr.): Returned an interception 41 yards for a touchdown and added four tackles in 49-35 win over Purdue.
Dallas Lloyd (S, Stanford, Sr.): Had an interception return for 38 yards, broke up one pass and had two tackles in win over Notre Dame, 17-10.
Calvin Munson (LB, San Diego State, Sr.): Led Aztecs with 10 tackles in 17-3 win over Fresno State.
Anthony Walker (LB, Northwestern, Sr.): Led team with 7 tackles, one sack and two quarterback hurries in win over Michigan State, 54-40.
Jerome Whitehead (S, Pitt, So.): Had a 59-yard interception return for a touchdown in win over Virginia, 45-31.
