UCLA Receives $25,000 From The Lott IMPACT Trophy In Honor of Eric Kendricks

Pasadena, CA- Representatives from the Lott IMPACT Trophy were on hand at UCLA Saturday night, Oct. 3, to present a check for $25,000 to UCLA’s general scholarship fund in recognition of former UCLA LB Eric Kendricks winning the 2014 Lott IMPACT Trophy. Kendricks has since joined his UCLA teammate and fellow Lott IMPACT Trophy winner Anthony Barr as a linebacker for the Minnesota Vikings.

Mercedes-Benz Western Region GM Bob Yeatman, legendary football Coach Terry Donahue and highly decorated basketball icon Ann Meyers-Drysdale presented the check as UCLA Athletic Director Dan Guerrero accepted. The presentation was made during the first half of the Bruins’ Pac-12 game against Arizona State at the Rose Bowl.

Donahue’s 151 wins at UCLA is the most ever by any coach in the history of the Pac-12 and his teams won three Rose Bowls.  Meyers-Drysdale was the first woman to be named All-American four straight seasons and was the National Player of the Year in 1978.

The Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation has now donated more than $1 million to various universities and charities throughout the United States.
