Briean Boddy-Calhoun walked off the field at Delaware Stadium after a spectacular 2011 Blue-Gold all-star game performance expecting his next football stop to be at Division III Wesley College.  Four years later, the Delcastle High graduate from Wilmington, DE is entering his senior season at the University of Minnesota as the Big Ten’s most respected cornerback and a likely NFL draft pick next spring.
“He embodies a lot of what we really want our players to be,” Minnesota defensive backs coach Jay Sawvel said of Boddy-Calhoun.  And to add to that he is so adept at the skills a cornerback needs, such as hips that swivel, a sharp mind, observant eyes, reliable hands and quick feet.
