IMPACT Foundation Announces Two Youth Based Initiatives
- Updated: May 10, 2014
DEVELOPING LEADERSHIP THROUGH CHARACTER AND PERFORMANCE.
The Pacific Club IMPACT® Foundation (PCIF) is pleased to announce the addition of two youth based initiatives that will continue to redefine the meaning of leadership in Orange County. These are modeled after the success of The Lott IMPACT® Trophy, which is inspired by Pro Football Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott emphasizing Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community, and Tenacity.
IMPACT LEADERSHIP ACADEMY (ILA)
The PCIF IMPACT® Leadership Academy (ILA) will provide local middle school students the tools to become the future leaders of our community. Working in collaboration with The Pacific Club’s distinguished membership and successful business leaders, youth who participate in ILA quarterly workshops will be well positioned to take their leadership skills to unique heights.
The second addition to PCIF’s educational programming is The Legacy Leadership Project (LLP), a Pro Football Hall of Fame Ambassador program approved by both the NCAA and the NFL.
LEGACY LEADERSHIP PROJECT (LLP)
The LLP matches PFHOF members and Orange County high school student athletes for a year of mentorship during their senior seasons, and includes a life changing week in Canton, Ohio during Induction Festivities.
Bringing the LLP and the ILA together under the umbrella of youth educational programming expands The Pacific Club’s reach and its legacy of IMPACT.
