Stanford’s Jordan Richards Named Lott IMPACT Player of The Week

Stanford Safety Jordan Richards has been named the Lott IMPACT Player of the Week.

Richards had one of Stanford’s four interceptions – to go along with eight tackles – in the 38-17 win over Cal last Saturday.  Richards is a semi-finalist for the annual Lott IMPACT Trophy.

The Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation will make a donation of $1,000 to the general scholarship fund at Stanford to recognize Richards’ performance.

Richards, who has 75 tackles on the season, has twice been named to the All Pac-12 Academic team and he was an Academic All-American last year.  He’s is a Senior Class Award nominee, a National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete candidate, a Campbell Award finalist and a team captain.
