Oklahoma State Defensive End Emmanuel Ogbah Named WK 6 Lott IMPACT Player Of The Week

NEWPORT BEACH, Ca. – Oklahoma State Defensive End Emmanuel Ogbah has been named the Lott IMPACT Player of the Week.
The 6-4, 275-pound junior from Houston forced two fumbles, recovered one for a touchdown, had a sack, a quarterback hurry and eight total tackles in the Cowboys’ 33-26 win over West Virginia. Oklahoma State remained undefeated at 6-0.
In recognition of Ogbah’s performance, the Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation, sponsors of the Lott IMPACT Trophy, will make a $1,000 donation to the general scholarship fund at Oklahoma State.
Ogbah was the All-Big 12 Defensive Lineman of the Year last season when he had 17 tackles for losses and 11 sacks. He was also a second team All-Big 12 Academic selection. Ogbah is a native of Nigeria.
“I think I carry the lessons I learned back then (in Nigeria growing up), because my dad always taught us to respect people, to respect elders,” Ogbah said. “That’s really helped me out.”

Jeremy Cash, S, Sr., Duke – Had a fumble recovery and 2 tackles for losses (4 total tackles) in 44-3 win over Army.
Ryan Janvion, S, Sr., Wake Forest – Led team with 9 tackles and forced a fumble in 3-0 shutout win over Boston College.
Derrick Kindred, S, Sr., TCU – Returned an interception 60 yards for a touchdown and had 7 total tackles in win over Kansas State, 52-45.
Calvin Munson, LB, Sr., San Diego State – Led Aztecs with 12 tackles, 2 sacks and 2 passes broken up along with a quarterback hurry in 28-14 win over Hawaii.
Joshua Perry, LB, Sr., Ohio State – Had 7 tackles and one sack in 49-28 win over Maryland.
Reggie Ragland, LB, Jr., Alabama – Led Crimson Tide with 8 tackles, broke up one pass, had a sack and forced a fumble in win over Arkansas, 27-14.
