Mercedes-Benz USA Expands Premier Sponsorship of the Annual Lott IMPACT Award

The Lott IMPACT Trophy is pleased to announce Mercedes-Benz USA will once again be the premier sponsor of the 2014 Lott IMPACT Trophy Award show live on FOX Sports West / FOX Regional Networks, Sunday December 14th, 7pm PDT.

The 11th annual Lott IMPACT Trophy Award Ceremony will take place at the prestigious Pacific Club in Newport Beach, CA. as they honor college football’s defensive best in character and performance. The award is unique in that it recognizes young men who not only perform on the field but also embody the IMPACT acronym; Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity.

The four finalists for the 2014 IMPACT Player of the Year are Landon Collins (Alabama), Eric Kendricks (UCLA), David Helton (Duke), and Hau’oli Kikaha (Washington), all of whom have made tremendous contributions to their teams and communities.

The 2013 Lott IMPACT Trophy was awarded to UCLA stand-out Linebacker Anthony Barr, and has been won by some of the today’s top defensive players in the NFL including 2013 NFL Defensive Player of the year Luke Kuechly (Boston College) and 2012 NFL Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt (Wisconsin).

Mercedes-Benz USA continues to strengthen the connection with this prestigious award, adding “An Evening with the Finalists” prior to the award ceremony.  This exclusive sit-down with the players and their families will be held at the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center in Irvine, CA on the eve of the award ceremony.
