- Updated: February 25, 2016
Ohio State LB and Lott IMPACT Trophy Finalist Joshua Perry is in Indianapolis at the NFL Combine this week. But he is not just trying to make his case to NFL scouts while he’s there. After working out at a training center in Florida that doubled as a special ops training facility, Perry vowed to raise funds during his workouts for the Eagle Fund that finances the rehab of Special Ops soldiers wounded in battle. Perry, along with Alabama offensive lineman Ryan Kelly, Auburn offensive lineman Shon Coleman, and Georgia receiver Malcolm Mitchell all trained at the Andrews Institute and have vowed to raise money for the Eagle Fund. Perry and Mitchell will compete head-to-head in the vertical jump with fans able to pledge money for every inch recorded by each player.
