Wisconsin’s Jack Cichy Awarded Lott IMPACT Player of the Week

NEWPORT BEACH, Ca. – Wisconsin Linebacker Jack Cichy has been named the Lott IMPACT Player of the Week.
The 6-2, 223-pound redshirt sophomore from Somerset, Wisconsin led the Badgers with eight tackles, including one for a loss, and forced a fumble in a 16-14 win over No. 5 ranked LSU.
In recognition of Cichy’s performance, the Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation, sponsors of the Lott IMPACT Trophy, will make a $1,000 donation to the general scholarship fund at Wisconsin.
Cichy was the Defensive MVP of the 2015 Holiday Bowl when he recorded sacks on three consecutive plays.
An economics major, he volunteers at the Amnesty International as a youth sports counselor and also at the Ronald McDonald House.
A former walk-on like previous Lott IMPACT Trophy finalists Jim Leonhard and winner J.J. Watt, Cichy is now a full scholarship player.

Ben Boulware (LB, Sr., Clemson): Had an interception, a forced fumble and six tackles, one for a loss, in 19-13 win over Auburn.
Riley Bullough (S, Sr., Michigan State): Had eight tackles, one tackle for loss and two quarterback hurries in win over Furman, 28-13.
Myles Garrett (DE, Jr., Texas A&M): Led Aggie defense with a sack, two quarterback hurries and three tackles in overtime win against UCLA, 31-24.
Joshua Kalu (CB, Sr., Nebraska): Had seven tackles, one sack, two quarterback hurries and one pass break up in win over Fresno State, 43-10.
Micah Kiser (LB, Sr., Virginia): Had 14 tackles, one sack and two forced fumbles in loss to Richmond, 37-20.
Calvin Munson (LB, Sr., San Diego State): Led team with 11 tackles, two for losses, in win over New Hampshire, 31-0.
Jabrill Peppers (LB, Jr., Michigan): Recorded 2.5 tackles for losses with one sack in 63-3 win over Hawaii.
A.J. Wolf (DL, Sr., Duke): Recorded three sacks and was credited with a quarterback hurry in win over North Carolina Central, 49-6.
