“IF YOU CAN BELIEVE IT, THE MIND CAN ACHIEVE IT.”
Inaugural IMPACT Leadership Academy Workshop Saturday, October 11th
- Updated: October 6, 2014
The Pacific Club IMPACT® Leadership Academy (ILA) provides Orange County, CA middle school students the tools to become the future leaders of our community. The ILA is the newest endeavor of the Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation (PCIF), whose focus has always been to recognize and develop outstanding leaders.
In 2004 the PCIF introduced the Lott IMPACT Trophy to honor college football’s best in personal character and performance, setting a standard of excellence on and off the field.
Later in 2008, the Legacy Leadership Project (LLP) was introduced to OC seniors. A Pro Football Hall of Fame Ambassador program, the LLP matches high school student-athletes with PFHOF mentors to support their off-field life goals.
Now the PCIF is branching out with the IMPACT Leadership Academy. During the 2014-2015 academic school year middle school (7th & 8th grade) students throughout Orange County will be invited to attend 4 workshops at the prestigious Pacific Club in Newport Beach, CA. Workshops feature standout keynote speakers and breakout sessions delivered by distinguished business professionals. To qualify, students have to be nominated by a school administrator.
The PCIF is honored to be working in partnership with the Orange County Board of Education through the AVID Department to identify the future leaders in OC!
