Finalist Watch: Devon Kennard Battles in Loss to Rival UCLA

For the first time since 1997, #22 UCLA defeated #23 USC at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum 35-14 on Saturday night. It was the second straight win for UCLA against USC in the crosstown rivalry and the decisive victory bumped UCLA up the rankings to #18 and USC out of the top 25.

Devon Kennard who wears #42 in honor of NFL Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott recorded eight tackles (six solo) and one sack in the bout.

Kennard is a Finalist for the Lott IMPACT Trophy, the only college football award to equally recognize athletic performance and the personal character attributes of a player. The Lott Trophy is given to the player who exhibits the same characteristics Ronnie Lott embodied during his distinguished career: Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity.
